Over the course of four modules, you will learn about the need for glycaemic control, and how to achieve this in everyday clinical practice, including a round-up of guidelines and practical tips. As we progress, we will also consider the patient perspective.
This unique content has been developed with Dr Francesc Xavier Cos from Barcelona, Spain, and is specifically tailored for primary care physicians – although it can be used by any healthcare professional involved in the care of people with type 2 diabetes, or people with a specific interest in learning more about GLP-1RA and how they can help to achieve early glycaemic control.
We will explore the impact of suboptimal control and look at how achieving early control can affect long-term consequences - the so-called legacy effect. We will touch on key data and goals.
